What happens if you click on "Cancel" here? Does everything work
correctly after that or are items in the list displayed or acting
incorrectly (compared to running on e.g. Windows XP)?

As a matter of fact, *when exactly* do you get this error? When
starting the up, when opening a catalog, or when? Please be as
specific as possible and provide as much details as possible, dumping the content of the error box is not enough to fix the bug.

Yes, after clicking Cancel it seems to work ok. The error message comes when you try to open a po-file. The OS is Vista 64bit and the hardware is also 64bit (Intel Dualcore).

The same error windows appears on Vista x86. So I think it has nothing to do with processor structures. It happens on all version.

Yes, it has to do with wxWidgets version only. Can you please confirm that this is fixed in 1.3.7_pre1 Windows package?

Not present in wx-2.8/poedit-1.3.7_pre1 anymore.
